Not quite sure how to go about making Bayonetta a little more sturdy for those epic fights?

Here are some quick pointers to keep in mind. 

• First, try to avoid spending your halos on restoration items. Since they are consumed, they are lost once used. 
• To that end, focus on buying various techniques (shown below are some good ones early on) or even a Witch Heart before chapter 4.

The Best Way to Farm Halos at the Early Stages

The best way to farm halos (early on) is to just redo chapters you beat. Chapter 2 is particularly good for this. Not only are there a lot of enemies to get halos from, but in one section more bullets for the Angel Attack game can be found. They are hard to miss, and even if you can’t get enough points for a free item, Angel Attack rewards handsomely with halos. 

If you are too weak to manage this, then even re-doing Chapter 1 can help.

Final Thoughts

If I find any other good leveling spots further in the game I will make sure to note it. After all, some things in the store cost 100,000 halos, so there must be a viable long-term way to get the in-game currency.
