Code:Realize - Guardian of Rebirth Main Characters

Code:Realize - Guardian of Rebirth Main Characters

Code:Realize - Guardian of Rebirth is an otome visual novel originally released for the PS Vita. For non-nerds, this means this video game is basically a super version of a romance novel. You play as the main heroine, read the story, enjoy the vibrant art, and then ultimately choose the gentleman you would like to romance.

How Do I Experience this Game?

Code:Realize - Guardian of Rebirth was initially released for the PS Vita. The PS Vita will also be getting the sequel to this game on March 30, called Code:Realize - Future Blessings. This will be adding to the experience of this series.

This March date also marks the PS4 release. Code:Realize - Bouquet of Rainbows will allow people who may have missed this game the first go around to experience this wonderful visual novel, since this PS4 version includes the main game and the sequel.

For those who don’t have the hardware required to play these games, Code:Realize was also released as an anime and is available on Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll is a legal anime provider that is free with ads. Or you can purchase a premium membership to remove ads and acquire other benefits.

The Main Male Characters *No Spoilers

The following characters can be romanced in the first Code:Realize game.

Arsène Lupin

This is the character on the cover art with the heroine for the first game. He is essentially a dashing gentleman thief with a good heart. Anyone looking for a more dashing and daring type of character might be influenced to explore his story first.

Impey Barbicane

This character is an expert engineer met early on in the game as well. He is definitely flirtatious, and he has no problem making his interests obvious. Anyone looking for an overt and fun romancer would be interested in him.

Victor Frankenstein

He is the mild-mannered intellectual of this game. Anyone interested in the a more meek and less aggressive male might be interested in pursing his route.

Abraham Van Helsing

He is the last character met in-game out of this line-up. He seems very aggressive and prone to violence, so anyone interested in the “manly” character type would probably be enticed to his story line.

Van Helsing seems very aggressive at first. Anyone looking for the "take charge" kind of guy might like his route. Image from in-game intro.

Saint-Germain

He is a thorough gentleman and is elegance personified. This initial impression, as well as obvious wealth, might attract some to his story line.

Final Thoughts

I have finished my first play through of this game, and I am curious to see what all of you think about these characters (or at least their first impressions).

Who would you pick for your first play through? (Please don’t include any spoilers in your comments for those who have not had the chance to pick this up yet.)

Who do you think I picked? I will be writing an article next week about my first choice in this game, so make sure you share your thoughts before the character is revealed!

As always, thanks to Aksys Games, Idea Factory, Design Factory, and Otomate for making and producing this fabulous game! If there are any other companies or individuals a part of this project and work that I missed, then thank you too! I do not own or have rights to this game, I am just promoting this work for fun. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me!
